I am a social worker, educator, and recent graduate of the Master of Public Affairs (MPA) program at the University of Michigan Ford School of Public Policy. I work at the intersection of technology, policy, and education. My long-term professional goal is to build a career promoting human-centered digital technology through philanthropy.

I have over 10 years of experience administering programs, including experience in strategic planning, project management, and supervising full-time professional staff. I also have significant experience building and stewarding partnerships with organizations in the nonprofit and public sectors.

For over 5 years, I have served as teaching faculty (lecturer) at the University of Michigan. I teach graduate-level courses on community engagement, policy analysis, results-based program design, and program evaluation. I designed and taught an undergraduate course on the social impacts of AI. And I have taught multiple courses on intergroup dialogue and coalition building.

My current research and writing focuses on the the connection between place-based economic displacement and political polarization, as well as the impact of AI deployment on the future of work, education, economic inequality, and democracy.
